The short version

This summary is here to be read. It is not a substitute for the rest of the document, and where the two differ, the full terms below govern.

• Your readings are written by artificial intelligence, not by a human astrologer.
• They are for reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or safety advice, and you should not use them to make decisions that need a professional.
• You must be 18 or over.
• Free tier, subscriptions, and one-off readings. Subscriptions renew until you cancel.
• If a reading you paid for fails or arrives broken, you get your money back.
• If you live in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have a 14 day right to cancel, and section 10 explains exactly how it works for something generated the moment you buy it.
• If you live in the US, disputes go to arbitration, and you have 30 days to opt out of that.

1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

Alchemy Astrology is an online service that builds astrological charts from birth details and uses artificial intelligence to write readings, reports, and conversational responses about them. These Terms of Service (the Terms) are a contract between you and Alchemy Works Studio LLC, and they cover the Alchemy Astrology website, our mobile applications, and everything you can do with them (together, the Service).

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal information. It is not part of this contract and you are not asked to agree to it, because it is a notice about how we handle data rather than a set of promises you make to us. Our Cookie Policy explains what we store on your device and how to change your mind about it.

2. Accepting these terms

You accept these Terms when you create an account, or when you buy a reading without creating one, or by using the Service at all. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation, and you means that organisation.

3. You must be 18 or over

The Service is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, and at least the age of majority where you live, to use any part of it, whether or not you pay us anything.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete the associated personal information. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to legal@alchemy-astrology.com and we will deal with it.

4. What Alchemy Astrology is, and what it is not

Your readings are generated by artificial intelligence

Every reading, report, and chat response on the Service is produced by AI language models, working from your birth details and the astrological calculations we derive from them. You are not talking to a human astrologer, and no human reviews your reading before it reaches you. We tell you this here, and again in the product at the point where readings and conversations are produced.

It is for reflection and entertainment

Astrology is not a science, and we do not present it as one. The Service is offered for entertainment, self-reflection, and personal interest. We do not claim that any reading is accurate, predictive, or true, and you should not treat it as a statement of fact about you, your future, or anyone else.

It is not professional advice

Nothing on the Service is medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, investment, tax, employment, immigration, or safety advice, and nothing on it is a substitute for a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Do not delay, avoid, or stop treatment or professional advice because of something a reading said. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country now. The Service is not a crisis resource, is not monitored by humans in real time, and cannot help you.

AI output is imperfect and not unique to you

AI models make things up. A reading may contain statements that are wrong, internally inconsistent, or that misdescribe the chart it was written from. Because readings are generated from patterns, two people with similar charts and similar questions may receive noticeably similar text. We do not promise that any reading is original, exclusive, or reproducible, and asking the same question twice may produce a different answer.

Do not use readings to make consequential decisions about people

You must not use the Service, or anything it produces, as an input to decisions about a person's employment, credit, insurance, housing, education, healthcare, immigration status, or access to any other benefit or service, whether that person is you or somebody else.

5. Your account

Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at hello@alchemy-astrology.com as soon as you think somebody else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, except to the extent it happens because of something we did wrong.

Give us accurate information when you register, and keep it current. Do not create accounts to get around a suspension, and do not share one account between people in a way that defeats the limits of your plan.

6. Charts for other people

The Service lets you create profiles for people other than yourself, so you can look at a partner's chart or a friend's. When you enter somebody else's birth details, you are giving us personal information about a person who is not in front of us, and you are confirming that you are entitled to do that.

Please think about this before you do it. Tell the person, where you reasonably can. Do not enter details for anyone under 18. Do not use the Service to build a picture of somebody who would not want you to, and do not use it to make decisions about them of the kind described in section 4.

If a person whose details you entered asks us to delete them, we will, and we may do so without telling you first.

7. Plans, prices and payment

We offer a free tier, paid subscription plans, and individual readings you can buy once. What each includes, and what it costs, is shown before you pay. Prices are in the currency shown at checkout and exclude taxes unless we say otherwise; where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT, or GST, it is added at checkout or included as indicated.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Your use of Stripe's checkout is also subject to Stripe's terms.

We may change our prices. A change to the price of a subscription takes effect at your next renewal, and we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand so you can cancel if you would rather not pay it. A change to the price of a one-off reading only affects purchases made after the change.

8. Subscriptions renew until you cancel

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the plan's then-current price, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. We do not send a separate reminder before each renewal unless the law where you live requires one, in which case we will.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by writing to hello@alchemy-astrology.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access to your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend paid features until it succeeds.

9. Refunds

Readings bought individually. If a reading fails to generate, arrives incomplete, or is materially defective, tell us at hello@alchemy-astrology.com and we will refund it in full. Beyond that, each reading is written to order at real cost the moment you buy it, so we do not offer automatic refunds on readings that were delivered as described. We will still consider a request made within 14 days of purchase, and we would rather hear from you than not.

Subscriptions. Cancel whenever you like and keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-used subscription periods.

Bought through an app store. If you paid through Apple or Google rather than through us, their refund process governs, and we will point you to it.

Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

None of this limits any refund or cancellation right you have by law, including the right in section 10.

10. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK: your right to cancel

You normally have 14 days from the day you buy a digital service to change your mind and get your money back, without giving a reason.

Digital content supplied immediately is the exception, and it matters here because a reading starts being written the moment you pay for it. When you buy a reading, we ask you to confirm two things at checkout: that you want us to start straight away, and that you understand you will lose the 14 day cancellation right for that reading once we have delivered it. If you do not give both confirmations, we will not begin generating the reading until the 14 days have passed.

For subscriptions, the same applies to the part of the service you have actually used. If you cancel within 14 days of subscribing, we will refund you, less a proportionate amount for the period you had access.

To cancel, write to legal@alchemy-astrology.com or hello@alchemy-astrology.com and say so. You do not need to use a particular form of words.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights if digital content we supply is not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or not fit for purpose.

11. Your content, and ours

Yours stays yours. You keep whatever rights you have in what you put into the Service: your birth details, your questions, your notes, your custom instructions.

What we may do with it. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, transmit, and process that content strictly in order to run the Service for you: to calculate your chart, to send it to the AI models that write your reading, to keep your history so you can read it again, to fix problems, and to keep the Service secure and lawful. That licence is limited to those purposes, is not sublicensable except to the service providers listed on our subprocessors page, and ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy.

We do not train AI models on your content. We do not use your birth details, chats, or readings to train or fine-tune AI models, and we send them to model providers under terms that prohibit those providers from doing so. Members of our team may read your content when they need to: to investigate a fault, to answer a support request from you, to check the quality of readings, or where the law requires it.

Your readings. Subject to your paying for them, you may use the readings we generate for you for any lawful personal purpose, including printing and keeping them. You may not resell them, present them as human-written astrological consultation, or use them to build or train a competing product. We keep the rights in the Service itself: the software, the prompts, the chart engine, the artwork, the report templates, and the Alchemy Astrology name and marks.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely and without owing you anything.

12. Share links

If you create a link that shares a chat or a reading, anyone who has the link can open it without signing in. That is what the feature is for. Think about what is in the conversation before you share it, particularly if it involves somebody else's chart. You can revoke a share link from within the Service.

13. Acceptable use

Do not:

• break the law, or use the Service to help anyone else do so;
• enter another person's details in breach of section 6, or impersonate anyone;
• submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually exploitative, or that infringes anyone's rights;
• use the Service to produce content that harasses, defames, profiles, or stalks a particular person;
• present AI-generated readings to other people as though a human astrologer wrote them, or resell readings as a consultancy service;
• scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service, or use bots or automated tooling against it;
• attempt to discover our prompts or extract our models, or reverse engineer, decompile, or probe the Service except where the law says you may;
• attack the Service, interfere with other users, evade rate limits or usage caps, or test its security without our written permission;
• resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as if it were yours.

14. Availability and changes

We will try to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, add, or remove features. If we discontinue a paid feature you are actively paying for, we will give you reasonable notice and a fair refund of the unused part.

Features marked beta or experimental are provided as-is and may break or disappear.

15. Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using the Service whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to legal@alchemy-astrology.com. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data afterwards.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if keeping it open would expose us or other users to real risk. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.

16. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided as is and as available, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We specifically do not warrant that readings are accurate, complete, predictive, or suitable for any purpose, or that the Service will meet your requirements or be available without interruption.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. Where that is true for you, these exclusions do not apply, and nothing here removes rights that consumer law gives you.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• Neither we nor our suppliers are liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service, in aggregate, will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) 100 US dollars.
• We are not liable for any decision you or anyone else takes on the basis of a reading.

What we never limit. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not permit us to limit. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, nothing in this section reduces your statutory rights, and the limits above apply only so far as your local law permits.

18. Indemnity

If you are using the Service other than as a consumer, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your entering another person's details without being entitled to. This section does not apply to consumers.

19. Resolving disputes: users in the United States

Talk to us first. Before starting formal proceedings, write to legal@alchemy-astrology.com describing the problem and what you want. We will try to resolve it within 60 days, and both of us agree to this step before arbitrating.

Arbitration. If that does not work, you and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will be conducted in English, by a single arbitrator, in the county where you live or remotely, at your choice. The arbitrator, not a court, decides questions about the scope and enforceability of this section.

No class actions. You and we may each bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding.

You can opt out, and you have 30 days. If you do not want this section to apply, send a notice to legal@alchemy-astrology.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, giving your name, the email address on your account, and a statement that you are opting out of arbitration. Opting out costs you nothing, changes nothing else in these Terms, and we will not treat you differently for it.

What is left out. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may seek an injunction in court to protect intellectual property or stop unauthorised access. Nothing here prevents you from reporting anything to a government agency.

If the class action waiver above is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will proceed in court and the rest of this section still applies to everything else.

20. Consumers outside the United States

Section 19 does not apply to you if you are a consumer resident in the EU, EEA, or UK, and nothing in these Terms requires you to arbitrate or to give up the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

You may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you may use your national alternative dispute resolution scheme. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction, subject to section 19 and section 20.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

22. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email to the address on your account, or by a prominent notice in the Service, before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply. If you would rather not accept them, you can cancel and, where you have paid for a period you will not now use, we will refund it.

We will always keep the current version at this address and show the date it was last changed.

23. General

Whole agreement. These Terms, plus any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.

Severability. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

No waiver. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.

Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided your rights are not reduced.

Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for a failure to perform caused by something genuinely outside our reasonable control.

Export and sanctions. You confirm you are not located in, and not ordinarily resident in, a country or territory subject to comprehensive US sanctions, and that you are not on a US restricted party list.

Language. These Terms are written in English. A translation is provided for convenience only, and the English version governs.
